Not Sure Where to Start?

Reading elliptical machines reviews may be in your best interest. As experts point out, elliptical machines often offer better cardiovascular training conditions than regular treadmills.Unlike treadmills, elliptical machines put less impact and stress on the joints and bones. Depending on the unit that you get, you may also get a more thorough muscle workout that involves upper and lower body muscles. Here are some machines you might want to check out.

Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer

This unit’s price at $599 is one of the reasons for its popularity. Despite the low price though, the unit does have excellent features. This compact model has eight workout programs and eight resistance levels. This means you can easily customize the settings to provide variety and more challenging sessions. This model also puts user comfort on top with its BioGlide motion technology and BioFit footpads. It comes with a convenient grip heart rate monitor on the handlebars.

Although it is a bargain for its price, the Schwinn 430 does have some disadvantages. A minor downside is that it does not come with a backlight which makes reading displays difficult. Its foot plates are also a bit insufficient when it comes to preventing the heels from rising.

Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer

For $999 you’d expect this 125 lb. lightweight unit to come with the works. Aside from being easy to move around, this unit also comes with the Poly-V Flexonic drive belt that ensures smooth and genuinely low impact movement. Elliptical machines reviews will also reveal that this model has 12 preset programs for workout variety. Other features include 4 heart rate control programs and a large multicolor display for speed, time and calorie tracking.

There aren’t any major disadvantages to this model. Perhaps one very minor complaint is the seemingly complicated appearance of the console. Another possible issue would be the location of the heart rate monitors on the hand rests. This may sometimes lead to inaccurate monitoring.

Precor EFX 5.17i Elliptical Fitness Crosstrainer

This model comes at a steep price at $1,999. The high price however may be well worth it considering the product features. This model boasts of having the adjustable CrossRamp technology. It can be adjusted from 12 to 25 degrees which means users are better able to isolate and work on different lower muscle groups. The unit comes with 4 programs and 20 resistance levels. Its membrane console is fully intuitive with large LED displays, various feedback choices and keystroke sequencing.

There are hardly any bad points on this model. Perhaps one possible disadvantage is its weight. At 197 lbs. it is definitely less lightweight than other models. This may not be a good choice if you want a unit that you can easily move around or position in a room with limited space.

You can’t underestimate the importance of elliptical machines reviews. Although all elliptical machines offer low impact, thorough workouts, not every machine offers the same features that can make or break your workout regimen. Make sure you read several reviews before making such an important decision as buying an elliptical machine.

Demo- Diamondback 910Er Rear Drive Elliptical Review

Diamondback offers two versions of its 910 elliptical trainer: the 910Ef, which has a front drive, and the more space-conscious 910Er with a rear drive. Both units have 21” strides and a docking station for first and second generation iPads. Other highlights are 35 preset workouts, wireless heart rate monitoring, and adjustable pedal width.

Both versions of the Diamondback 910 retail for $1799. We’d like to see a more generous warranty, but in general we’re wowed by the quality and features of this collection.
