Cybex 770A Lower Body Arc Trainer
A Top-End Lower Body Trainer for Commercial Use
The Cybex 770A Lower Body Arc Trainer is designed for people wishing to combine cardio training with toning their legs and glutes. It does not include moving handlebars, although bars are provided for stability. The open design allows for weight lifting and other arm movements. The lower body can be exercised with an elliptical motion, a climbing motion or a smooth glide, depending on the chosen resistance level. Each type of movement is remarkably low-impact, which helps protect the joints.
Trainees also get video entertainment! This machine is available in white, black, black chrome, platinum sparkle
and gold-tone, plus nearly 200 custom color schemes to match your gym logo.
An Overview of the Cybex 770A Lower Body Arc Trainer
Luxury: The 770A is selected by the finest gyms. Its TV and video options, touchscreen, “E3” multiple viewing modes, world language options and wide variety of efficient, powerful workouts make for a superior personal training experience.
Three machines in one: Multiple resistance and incline levels let people use the 770AT in three training modes: glide, stride and stair-climbing. The display indicates which muscle groups are being recruited under the chosen settings.
Reverse Arc Motion: By moving backwards, trainees can recruit their quads, glutes, and triceps. Reverse motion training can make a significant difference in both leg and arm tone, as the muscles aren’t normally recruited to such a degree.
Workout apps: A great selection of workouts features a heart rate control program and routines with titles like Firefighter Training Program, Leatherneck Warrior Program and High Intensity Interval Program.
High resale value: Cybex arc trainers are popular and high quality. You won’t have trouble reselling the 770AT and rolling a good amount of cash toward a new purchase.
Oversized, easy-to-use console: Gym members will get a graphic display of workouts on a 7” x 15” LED screen. Exercise feedback includes calories burned, calories per hour, distance, time elapsed or remaining, METs, watts, strides per minute and heart rate. There’s also a three-color heart rate indicator to help people make the most of each session. Other data windows show incline and resistance level.

The Word on the Street
Arc trainers are experienced as requiring less exertion than traditional elliptical trainers, yet they burn calories and help build strength very quickly. Some people prefer this model to the total body trainers because they leave the hands free for dumbbell training or just let the arms get rest.
Our Overall Review of the Cybex Lower Body Arc Trainer
Cybex Arc Trainers get overwhelmingly favorable reviews, and we’re in agreement. The 770A has a good commercial warranty and is highly customizable. We prefer Cybex’s total body trainers, but most gyms have a place for this machine.
